Session Content
Each session offers a mix of fun, purposeful sailing designed to help you grow your confidence and independence. Depending on the weather and group experience, sailors might practise boat handling, teamwork, and seamanship through mini-cruises, challenges, or skill-building exercises. We focus on developing good habits on the water, from rigging and launching safely to understanding wind, tide, and navigation.
Alongside this, sailors will explore the excitement of racing in a relaxed and supportive setting. We introduce race starts, mark rounding, tactics, and simple rules to build confidence for club or regional racing. Each week’s plan is flexible, adapting to the sailors’ interests and conditions, so everyone stays engaged and learning. Above all, sessions are about enjoying time on the water, making friends, and feeling part of a vibrant sailing community.
